Bach, Beethoven… and James Matthews? Why not? Wes McCune plays my 2nd prelude (1st note is very quiet) at Radford U 1/14/26 on a program of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt and Dvorak. It’s honor to have my piece played, but man, the company it keeps! Wes’ words of how he loves this piece, and vision that it would be played by our musical heirs in similar recitals of great music 50 years from now was among the highest paise I have received.
